This could be caused due to traces of older AVG version present on your PC. I have recently purchased AVG Internet Security and every time I have tried to install it it has failed. The description of the error is 'General Error [0x0659]' and the error code is 0xC0070659.
Any help to solve this problem is appreciated.

I have followed your instructions to solve the problem but it hasnt worked and the same error still happens. Are there any other solutions to fix it?
