I am having the same issue although i did have it installed. Now i can no longer remove it either.
Not a happy customer. I have used AVG for years but i feel unsecure and want this fixing.

I recently updated to windows 10 professional build 10586.17 and AVG (paid version) fails to install. Installation proceeds to 37%, resets to 0% after a pause, then goes to 94% before throwing error message
Error code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished
and Windows error message R0625 virtual function call in msiexec.
I saw another post referencing an email from support, so can one of the support team assist me on this, please?
