Please run the  AVG remover tool : http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to completely uninstall your previous installation of AVG program from your PC. Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/us-en/download to reinstall your AVG program. Please feel free to contact us for further assistance.

Error code showing when trying to install

0xE001D029 Event exec_finished
 I have tried numerous times to install. 
I had to uninstall my previous AVG which was showing that I was'nt fully protected and was unable to repair
Hope someone can help

All fixed!!
Windows action centre fixed the missing component
I'm fully protected once more

I have followed your instructions and I now find this showing
YOU ARE NOT FULLY PROTECTED!
Computer :  Computer component not active. Fix now
When I press fix now, nothing happens.  This is why I uninstalled my previous AVG so I'm now back to square one.
Can you help please?

Hello Sheila,
Could you please let us know whether you are trying to install our paid version or the Free version of the AVG program? If you are trying to install the paid version, have you tried to activate the program with appropriate credentials?
