Are you getting the error as "0xC0070643, Description: event exec finished"?
Have you completed removed the traces of McAfee program?

Looks like many people have the same question as me. In addition to the AVG Protection that was installed earlier and stopped working recently, I also have the AVG Performance installed, and I may have somewhere the McAfee anti-virus lurking behind. I spent an entire evening trying to find even one e-mail address of the Customer Support of AVG, or a phone number to contact them about my problem. No success. My laptop needs at least some protection. I wonder if I can get real help from their Customer Support, or just another advise to contact Customer Support (without telling me HOW to contact them). I don't want to switch to another anti-virus, but do I have a choice?
