We regret for the inconvenience you are facing with installing the AVG program. Please check whether you have installed any other conflicting applications like McAfee, Avast, Norton etc… on your PC, If so please uninstall the conflicting applications.
If not, please follow the instructions on the article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reinstall-AVG to reinstall all the traces of the AVG program and check whether it resolves the issue.
Note : Please use the AVG Remover tool mentioned on the article to uninstall the AVG program more effectively.

The installation of the trial software (AVG Internet Security - Unlimited) is stuck!!! It downloaded to my laptop and reached the point where it was restarting but it's only gone so far as to complete Phase 1. It has been stuck at this point for literally hours!!! What should I do???
