The previous software from Kasperski was deinstalled before I tried to install AVG. Also I have tried to remove any leftover traces of a previous attempt to download AVG as you suggested, but still no success. Any other ideas?

Hi there, I have been trying to install the paid anti- virus programm AVG on a computer (windows7 with service pack1, intel core i3, 32bit, more than 3gb free space). The installation manager stopps download at 95%. Tried to deinstall and start again. That did not work. Old virus programm is deleted. Any ideas?
