Installing and Repairing

I  had the free trial and when it expired I purchased the program.  I don't think I've had an AVG other than the free trial. Tried to insert a screen shot but it didn't work.

Hello B. Is any AVG Antivirus program currently installed on your computer or this is the first instance you are trying to install a AVG program?

I purchased AVG Protection and started the installation.  The same message has been displayed now for 2 days.  Configuration Process: Repairing.  Any thoughts on what's happening or what's NOT happending?  I don't want to shut down or stop the process.  If it's not actually doing anything should I just start over? Task Manager shows it is running but 2 days seems a bit excessive since I had only let my protection lapse for a few days.  Thanks for any advice.

Hello B. I would request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install the AVG program. To determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218
