Let's work together to fix it. Have you received any error message now? It might be due to traces of old AVG left on your device. Please refer the following article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product to run AVG Clear and Remover tool. This will remove the traces completely. Note: Run AVG Clear tool first.

Then proceed with reinstallation of AVG Internet Security http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection and PC Tuneup: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-download-and-install-AVG-PC-TuneUp .

If the issue persists, please share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of error message via email you received from us.
