My first question was:
I have 3 computers and had separate AVG Internet Security and AVG PC Tune-up separately on each computer. Working with AVG I got the Internet Security for all 3 on a single contact. It came up for renewal and was done December 14, 2016 for 2 years. My AVG PC Tune-up was on a different schedule and became time to renew on Feb 10, 2017. I renewed it. and have been trying to get them up and running uniformly in AVG ZEN. OK I got the AVG PC Tune-up for all 3 up and running through AVG ZEN. I have AVG Internet security (which has both the basic and each item of full protection0 working perfectly in one computer. In a different computer when I go to open internet security I get: "Module error. Failed to load module Dashboard. Syntax Error: Unexpected token illegal". On my third computer when I open internet security I have basic protection and Private Data protection but not Hacker Attacks protection nor Payments protection. I have reinstalled from MyAccount multiple times and can't seem to get beyond these problems? Any suggestions?
The response was:
Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. As per our records, you have an active license for AVG Internet Security (3 computers) and an active AVG TuneUp - Unlimited (1 year subscription). You have to install AVG Internet Security separately but you seem to have installed it from within Zen app. So, please uninstall AVG Protection from your control panel and follow the instructions below to install your AVG Internet Security.
Click on this link to download http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Internet_Security_1930.exe .
Run the downloaded file to start the installation process.
Follow the instructions on your screen.
When prompted, enter your AVG license number.
Complete the installation and restart your computer.
My next experience which stopped the reinstall involved incompatibility between two AVG products. I called in and found out I needed to uninstall all AVG products and reinstall starting with Internet Security which was the only product which required a key. That's done and works except I noticed a discrepancy between the main computer and the recipient computers in the wording under INTERNET SECURITY when AVG is first opened. The main computer has PROTECTED in the INTERNET SECURITY box while both recipient computers in the INTERNET SECURITY box say FULLY PROTECTED and under that it says EXPIRES IN 30 DAYS. Does that indicate that in 30 days I will lose the full protection of the internet security in the recipient computers even though I have a license for full internet security for 2 years? Thanks for your time.
