After uninstalling AVG Internet Security and AVG Tune Up to get MS Office working again (!), I now want to re-install the antivirus. I have downloaded the installation file from the link in my account but when I run the file I get this message after about 3 minutes of waiting:
AVG Antivirus Installer
We are sorry but there seems to be a problem connecting to AVG servers! Check your internet connection and run the installer again.
Of course, my internet connection is working perfectly well as I had just downloaded the installer file each time and I can surf the web whie I wait the 3 minutes before the error message comes up!
I've tried 3 different versions of the installation file and get the same error every time. Can anyone suggest a way to get the antivirus installed please?
I have 233 days left of my subscription.
