Installing avg ultimate 2016

Thank you for choosing AVG Solutions.
Upon checking your account details with your registered email address, I could see AVG Ultimate program registered with the date of expiry 11/18/2016. So, if you have already installed  AVG Ultimate program then you can activate it with your myaccount(email address and password). hi,  I bought retail ultimate 2016 because my 2015 ultimate was about to expire.  I installed it and no problems but should I have uninstalled the 2015 version first before installing 2016?
I am asking before i put it on other computers.
