Installing AVG ultimate on Sumsung android tablet and google pixel 2 phone

I purchased  AVG ultimate and am trying to install on my tablet and phone.  I have seen many versions of this
'Please be informed that AVG Zen has been removed from AVG Antivirus Android so it can not activate using invitation code. I request you to open the installed AVG app > Tap on drawer (3 lines) on top-left of the app > Select AVG Account > Enter your My Account email address and password. The paid app will get installed automatically. "

This doesn't work. I log onto My account and what i see is a page with my devices. No automatic ugrade or  I have asoo gone through the app and tried to upgrade after dtting to free trial page and entering my  purchase number whne asked for my "voucher number". This doesn't work either.

Please download AVG Antivirus and AVG Cleaner from Google PlayStore on Android device, install it and then enter AVG my account by following below steps:
1.Device Menu -> Settings -> Apps/Application Manager -> AVG -> Uninstall.
2. Restart your device once.
3. Open Google play store app on your device.
4. Search for AVG antivirus/cleaner.
5. Locate and install the free version of the app.
6. Now open the installed app.
7. Tap on drawer (3 lines) on top-left of the app.
8. Select AVG Account.
9. Enter your My Account email address and password.
The paid app should get installed automatically.
