I tried to download that offline installer and it was interrupted with a "corrupt file" message. I think the defense of my computer is getting very problematic and blocking software it shouldn't…
Thanks again…any idea what I could do now or how I could get it this offline version (or the other one) to work?

It is not recommended to uninstall Microsoft.NET Framework from your PC.
I request you to download AVG antivirus free offline installer which is available in this website: https://www.avg.com/download.prd-gsr-free .
Please download the exact 32 or 64 bit version file for your operating system and then try the installation.

I'm unabled to install the AVG AntiVirus FREE. I've removed Kaspersky. Do I have to remove Microsoft.NET Framework and stuff like that?
I'm on Windows 7 and a netbook.
It loads until 70-80% or so and then I get a failed message…something like: unabled to install. We're sorry there was an inconvenience. Discover what could have happened. ( get online; 0xE001050B: to install AVG you needed to be connected to the internet )

Once you uninstalled, please follow the steps in this article to reinstall AVG free using offline installer.
For 64 bit OS: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x64_1818.exe
For 32 bit OS: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x86_1819.exe
Note: Before starting the installation, please select "Basic protection" to install AVG Free.
