Yes I have an admin account on windows. I have been building and repairing PC's for many years and have never had an issue with AVG until this last rebuild.

I had to reinstall windows & AVG Internet Security. Now I can't change any settings in AVG due to "insufficient user rights." My windows account is an admin account. The reason I need to change settings is due to AVG blocking my TV tuner and digital cable card.

For help please try run AVG as Administrator (right click on icon and choose run as Administrator).
