Intermittent internet access

I have uninstalled IPVanish from my PC and having intermittent internet access ever since. Any ideas? 

Every few minutes pages time out. I am sure my wifi is fine and I do not lose wifi strength during these time outs.

Which AVG apps are installed on your PC?
Do you think an AVG product is causing the internet issue? If you do, may I ask how did you narrow down the issue to AVG?
