I recently updated my AVG Internet Security and VPN softwares (on Windows). Since then I am having a problem of intermittent internet connection when I switch on the VPN. There is no connection problem when I switch-off my VPN. Before this update, there was no issue with my VPN.
After I switch-on VPN, it takes a few mins before I can open up a website like google. In initial few mins I get an error message that says, "This page can't be displayed. Make sure the web address http://www.google.co.uk is correct".
After a few mins google opens up, and I am able to browse the net. But, after sometime, the connection goes off and I start getting the same error again.
I read a similar problem in another post but could not find a solution there. I have tried to use different browsers like IE, Firefox and Crome. But again, the connection problem occurs only when VPN is on!
I have checked Windows Firewall settings that says that firewall setting are controlled by external application AVG.
Can someone help me with this?
