Internet connection drops when on VPN

Please clarify whether this happens with a specific network or irrespective of networks. 
If you've not tried connecting to other networks such as wired, mobile hotspot, etc, please try & let us know.
Meanwhile, please try connecting to different servers (locations) in AVG Secure VPN to check if it helps.
