Internet connection lost urgent

I am sorry to hear that, you have lost connection after the update of AVG Internet Security. I would request, you to follow these instructions and check :

  • Open AVG Internet Security.
  • Click the Web & Email.
  • Click Open above Enhanced Firewall.
  • Select the Networks tab.
  • Click Show settings next to the current network which you are connected with.
  • Change it to I trust this network.
If this setting is already applied, please get back to us and we will assist, you further. Additionally have, you tried to connect your PC directly to Wi-Fi and check, if the issue persisted ? Is your ethernet cable connected with your PC properly ? May I know have, you faced this issue before ?

My PC had an AVG update overnight (14/08/2024) and now it is unable to connect to the internet. Yes the internet is working. No it's not WiFi , it's ethernet connected. AVG support is online so needs connection to fix. Please help .

Thank you for the reply. In fact I powered off my PC (twice) and left it for a few minutes each time. After the second time AVG had recognised my network and everything worked. Your help is much appreciated nevertheless.
