Hi Sabrina,
We will help you with this.
Can you please tell me how do you know that the AVG Driver Updater is causing this issue?
Do you get any error message when you try to access the internet?
If yes, could you share the screenshot of that message?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
I recently ran a driver update and lost my internet connection. I can’t get ahold of anyone from customer support and need internet access to work from home. I have AVG antitrack, driver update and VPN but I think they’ve messed up my internet connection. Please help.
Thank you so very much for your response. I was worried your site was closed since the phone option was closed. I'm not positive it is a result of the driver update but that is the last update I ran before losing internet access. I will try to take a photo of my laptop screens and attach them. I have tried to reconnect to WI-FI and tried to troubleshoot connection but it says unable to determine cause. Whenever I try to reconnect it is not successful. I have been trying to restore my connection all morning and have been unsuccessful. Please help. I have AVG VPN, antitrack and driver updater. Thank you! It only let me attach one photo. I'll send the others in my next post
When I click on TROUBLESHOOT it runs a diagnostic test and says "detecting problems" & "looking for problems in network security and then the results say:
Troubleshooting couldnt Identify the Problem
You can try exploring other options that might be helpful.
But then it doesn't give me any otptions other than closing the troubleshooter or Give feedback
