Internet connectivity

We have Spectrum internet and have access to both "regular" and 5G internet.  My computer will no longer connect to the "regular" internet. When I run a troubleshoot, it says 

Secure VPN" adapter

and will show the little AVG shield.
My relatively new printer will not work with 5G internet (I'm going to deal with Epson next) therefore since I can no longer connect to the "regular" internet, I can no longer use it to print wireless.
HELP!

We regret the inconvenience caused.
Are you able to connect to regular internet when the VPN connection is disabled?
Please try to change location to a different VPN server and verify the issue. If the issue persists, please reinstall AVG Secure VPN.
