You may experience a slower internet connection when using AVG Secure VPN. This is because a VPN encrypts traffic and data before sending it to a server. Depending on the distance and capacity of the server, this process may cause a slightly slower, but safer, internet connection.
To improve your internet speed when connected to AVG Secure VPN, try the following troubleshooting steps:
my internet download speed is usually around 350Mbs when AVG VPN is off but drops dramatically to around 5.6Mbs when I turn the VPN is turned on.

Thanks for your response. I don't appear to have the problem today. Internet speed is back to normal. Not sure what the problem was yesterday but thankfully the issue has been resolved. Thanks anyway. Good to know that help is always at hand if needed.
