I've got the Enhanced Firewall, amongst other AVG products.
An initial browser connection (either Firefox or Chrome) will time out since the recent Windows 10 update. The Task Manager shows "LocalServiceNoNetworkFirewall" with subtasks of Windows Defender Firewall and Base Filtering Engine chewing up about 30% of processor capacity.
Windows Defender had been disabled, but an internet search suggested enabling it. No difference in response.
Any ideas?
I have this same exact issue with "LocalServiceNoNetworkFirewall" appearing in my task manager and when it does I can't use the internet on the computer. After about 2 minutes it goes away and internet access is restored.
I tried running the AVG repair but the issue remains.
Also, when I turn my computer on from hybernation I have to wait about 2 minutes before internet access works.
There was a Windows 10 update and it started happening immediately after that update.
