This isn't the experience we wanted you to have with AVG Secure VPN.

I request you to try connecting to different optimal location and check if you experience the same.

For the steps to change location, follow the steps below.

1. Double-click the AVG Secure VPN icon on your desktop to open the application.
2. Click Change location to select a server location.

I recently bought AVG's Secure VPN.
I HATE IT…
It interrupts all activity with constant pauses and flagging up AVG Secure VPN reconnecting and then Secure VPN reconnected messages on bottom of screen, just like adverts.
It is very tiresome.
More seriously, it even halts some ordinary financial transactions which will only work when it is switched off.
Have I wasted my money?

I lve in London so the obvious choice would be London, indeed the AVG window says London (Optimal location). 
Can I try any other location? Eg, Paris?

Yes, you can try connecting to any location and monitor your internet connection.
