I had issues a few weeks ago with am AVG update that stopped incoming googlemail. AVG eventually pit a fix up and it was sorted. However the issue has come back and I have not received any googlemail since yesterday at 18:06. I get a pop-up saying AVG is scanning mail and Thunderbird says downloading 1 of 8 but nothing appears. I have downloaded the fix file posted on other threads but it has had no efect.
I am running Windows 10 and Thunderbird 38.2.0.
Google calendar and my other non google account work fine, as do outgoing googlemail.
Hopefully AVG can get a fix out quicker than last time and perhaps even look at not screwing up my system everytime they update.

Yes, when I tried it there was still none coming through. However, they randomly just started coming in last night out of the blue about 8 O'clock. There didn't seem to be any updates with either AVG or Thunderbird and the scanning emails pop up had been going all night without any coming in. For now, it seems to have resolved itself?
