What has AVG done to their Internet Security 2017??!!
It's so unfriendly and to top it all, the scheduled scans don't run on schedule!!!
I know that I'm not the only one having this problem, so come on AVG, what are you going to do about it?
Sort it out or I'll be requesting a refund of my subscription.
Simply not good enough!
Hi Alok
Thanks for your reply.
The scheduled scans are set for 20h30 in the evening - my PC is ALWAYS on and in use at this time, but again this evening at 23h10 I noticed a scan was running!.
AVG is simply too hard to use and unreliable now, and since my original post I have been looking at alternatives as I am so sick of AVG.
I've been a user of AVG for over 15 years, but I'm really fed up of AVG screwing-up the product - this latest (Zen) version is a total disaster. I'm uninstalling it and shall use Windows Defender until I decide on an AVG replacement.
Your developers need to be told that their "improvements" are driving your customers to other products.
Can you tell me how I get a refund of my subscription?
Thanks.
B Bu, from your account I see that you have purchased AVG Internet Security (2 computers) from a third party reseller, so you have to contact them to receive a refund. However, at this point there is one more thing which you can try, I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG Internet Security. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version. (1/2)
