Hello Michelle, 

This is not an expected behavior of AVG programs. Can you please try to repair AVG Internet Security and check whether you still face freezing issue?

Also, if you want to connect AVG Secure VPN automatically, please follow the below steps

  • Open AVG Secure VPN and go to ☰ Menu ▸ Settings.
  • Ensure the Network Security tab is selected in the left panel, then tick the box next to Automatically when connected to the Internet.
  • By default, AVG Secure VPN does not automatically connect when you are using a trusted private network. To ensure AVG Secure VPN connects automatically every time you use the internet, untick the box next to Exclude Trusted (private) networks.

Hi, since I installed the Internet security and VPN my laptop it always freezes and the curser won't move. When I switch my laptop on I always have to restart it at least once. it hasn't ever done this before not even with the free trial.

Also the VPN is set to start up as soon as I switch on my laptop but it never does, I always have to start it manually. 

We also have it on 2 mobile phones and don't have any problems with either of these, just the laptop.

Please help with this as its pointless using it if I'm constantly having to reboot my laptop? Thanks
