I think  have got Topic & Category correct.
As previously stated at the beginning of August, we have 5 computers in this house and due to the crap avg activities, one has gone over  to another security provider.
On the 5th computer, I now have an AVG problem.
Upon entering onto the internet page I get the "welcoming message" as follows :-
"avgui.exe can't start because avgntopensslx.dll is missing. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."   It does not say which program but I presume it means Internet Security, my paid version.

I uninstalled the I S program and reinstalled it, to no avail,  I still get the same message.

Now I have the same problem with ZEN and Protection this giving the error code 0xC0070643 - "Sorry, we've experienced a problem ...... "

These have suddenly appeared after months of trouble free operation.
How are they fixed and prevented from re-occuring?

As both of these statements are from avg you will not need screen dumps.

I want practical solutions, not trite comments like "we are sorry for the inconvenience ... etc"

Hello Philip,
Thank you for your valuable efforts which you have tried to fix it. We have sent you an email instruction to get connected with our technical support team. Please follow those instructions to get in touch with them and you should be able to resolve your issue. Thank you.

I followed your second instruction sent directly to my e-mail address ( without using remote assistance) and all is now fixed and running again.  However, not one of you has advised as to what action has been taken within avg to prevent re-occurences.     As I said earlier, all 5 of our computers have now had problems, all different and one of the 5 has dumped avg and went to Sophos, purely because of the attitude of the avg staff, -you can read my previous notes.  It is quite likely that future problems like the ones encountered will result in the particular computer also migrating to Sophos.
I would really like to know what happened to the avg organisation that I dealt with in theperiod 2007- 2013, when you could get to talk to Sydney and things were simple. The introduction of these extra little packages, which add up to big $, have not done avg any favors at all.
Overall, whereas I supported and promoted avg in the past, I do not do this anymore. I have also removed the "I love avg" sticker from my car.   Very disappointing

Hello Philip, We can assure you that we are always working to improve your experience with us. Your feedback was passed to the concerned department. Thank you.

NOTE: Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.
To download the AVG Internet Security , please click on this link: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Internet_Security_742.exe .
Once you have reinstalled successfully, please try to install AVG Performance: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Performance_803.exe
Please feel free to contact us if you need any assistance. Thank you.

Hello Alan,
My last mail (replying to Avinash, but somehow not shown here) contains all the info needed by avg and if they cannot be bothered to read this for themselves, why should I waste my time again. If scalation means sending the info to another department, then this should be within the organisation of avg.
I have said my piece and am not in the habit of repeating myself.
Regards,                   philip
