Internet Security Failure

Alan, if the AVG page didn't keep taking me round in circles then the post would not have appeared three times.

Same happens when I click on the link sent to me to resolve the problem.  It keeps taking me to different pages where I have to sign in yet again.

The message I received Gulam was as follows:

AVG is not able to recognise your License Number.
Please click re-enter your license number gain.
The error code I got was 0xC0070643
I tried re-entering my license number but it just took me back to the message.

It would not let me uninstall AVG so that I could install th new version, but I have now the "uninstaller" tool and successfully uninstalled AVG 2015 and installed AVG 2016.

I see from posts above that I am not the only one having this problem over the last few days.  Unfortunately because the older version failed completely, I had no way of checking its expiry date and am wondering now whether I have paid out for a new version when I still had time on my old License.

My AVG Internet Security failed this evening and I can't access it at all.  I purchased the 2016 version and installation has now failed 3 times.

Any suggestions.

You can verify the license number by clicking Support in the top menu. Your license number and validity will be shown, along with other product information.
