Internet Security Not installing error 0xE001050B

Peter, Before trying to install AVG have you tried uninstalling Norman antivirus software?. You should only have 1 - AV installed on your system.
AVG Guru.

Hi I'm trying to install AVG Ultimate on a Pentium[R] 4 CPU 3.00 GHz PC with 1.5 GB of RAM and 98 GB of spare hard drive space. The PC is running Windows XP 2002 Home Edition Service Pack 3 and is currently using Norman antivirus software.
I have downloaded and run AVG_Ultimate_761.exe version 1.0.2.55565. This appears to have installed AVG.Zen and PC TuneUp but failed to install Internet Security. The installation process failed with the error message
"Please connect to the Internet ; 0xE001050B: To install AVG, you need to be connected to the Internet."
I then downloaded and ran the AVG Reset Access tool followed by another attempt at installing AVG still the same error message.
After doing some searching I came accross this article in the AVG Support Community https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000Da60AAC which suggested setting the IP address for the DNS to 8.8.8.8
Tried install again still failing with the same error.
Can you help fix this problem
