Hi There Pamela,
You can tell if AVG has renewed by checking the bottom right hand side of your start menu.

If you see the AVG icon then double click and it should load AVG Dashboard telling you it is all working, If not i would advise downloading AVG from Download Free Antivirus Software for PC | AVG Virus Protection (https://www.avg.com/download" target="_blank) and installing from that file.

i purchased ($84.99) internet security for my laptop on 1-7/14, i believe that i never finished the download
correctly, how do I confirm that its on my cpu?
