Internet Security Scan

Hello Jean,

I understand your concern.

Please send me the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of the scheduled scan settings and the screen where it shows "Scan hasn't run for several weeks".

I will check the same and assist you further.

On 2 laptops and a desktop, the weekly scan is set to run on Sunday mornings.  When I look at the screen, each says 'Scan Completed'.  However, the next time I go on, there is the message that the scan hasn't run for several weeks.  I looked at Quarantine on one machine, and the last time something was quarantined was 2 months ago. This may or may not tell us anything, but I'm concerned that the scan is not working.  I don't find anything like the old 'reports' file that would tell me the scan had run.  I'm very concerned that I'm not getting the automatic scans I want.

Thanks.  I see how it all works now, but it was so easy before!  I really think this was a step backward!
I appreciate your help in learning how it works.
Jean

Thank you for the screenshot, Jean.
The last computer scan will get updated only when the scan is performed by clicking on "Scan Computer" available on AVG Internet Security interface.
It will not update for other scans like Deep, File & Folder and Schedule.
Like before, "reports" option will no longer be available on program interface.
Instead, it can be setup and viewed from C:\Program Data\AVG\Antivirus\Reports folder.
To set it up, open AVG Internet Security interface.
Click on gear icon of "Scan Computer" and select the gear icon of Deep or File and folder scan.
Click on "Report File" option and enter necessary details.
