Please do not worry, you can continue to use AVG Anti Virus free if you do not want to upgrade to paid version. Please uninstall the trial version as suggested in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG and then re install AVG free version.

Hello, I am very pissed off: I have been using my AVG FREE ANTIVIRUS for years. And then they proposed me to install the free version (trial) of the internet security. Now that the trial is over, I cannot access the functions of my standard antivirus anymore and i cannot scan my laptop anymore because it says that i have to pay for this extra option and it doesn't let me access the normal functions…
ANY HELP?
i am desperate!!

I did what you said yesterday and when I installed the new free version, I had the same problem. Everytime I open the main thing of the AVG antivirus, I get the message saying that I have to buy the AVG INTERNET SECURITY.

I want my AVG back…I am desperate!! Please help me!
