Windows 10/11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode.
Unfortunately you cannot download and install any programs when it is in S mode. Please refer the article below to get out of S Mode in Windows 11:

I purchased a year subscription and I am unable to download. Says its not a microsoft store app, but it is!!! Spent almost two hours in an online chat with AVG rep, but they ended the chat . WTH?!!?
Fed up and frustrated. Terrible product. Terrible company. Will be unsubscribing if this is not resolved.
