I'm sorry to hear about this. At this point I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version. Please download AVG Remover tool (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe), run the downloaded file, select all AVG programs and click remove (or click run anyway), please ignore the restart (if AVG remover tool ask for a computer reboot), please download AVG clear tool (https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe), click NO (if it's ask for safe reboot), select AVG Zen box, click on remove. After reboot, please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection) to install AVG Internet Security. After that, please open AVG dashboard, click PC Tuneup to install it.
