Just renew the internet for a year and the internet security says the password protection is turned off. Can someone please help me with that.

Please re-enabled Password protection manually & restart the computer to check if it stays active.
To do so : Open AVG Internet Security - Hacker attacks tile - click on toggle bar beside Password protection.
