This isn't the experience we want you to have and I apologize for the inconvenience caused. This issue might have caused due to corrupted older update files of AVG. Hence please remove AVG Internet Security completely as per the steps mentioned in this article . Then reinstall it by following the steps mentioned in this article .

My AVG Screen is saying  I am protected but there is a red notice above the icons saying "I an not protected… AVG home support suggested I do a "repair" which I did. I still have  the same problem.

Someone in my house has a separate AVG account and they are getting the same message.

Is there a problem within AVG itself and not a user problem.

Any ideas how to resolve my issue.
