What is the current web site protection, is it the Safeguard Toolbar or is it Secure Search? I have Safeguard Toolbar installed but I do not see the toolbar since I refreshed Firefox 50.0 and the Safeguard Toolbar extension was removed. The toolbar does not appear. How do I get it back?
Also, I have Linkscanner enabled in AGV Free but the are no signs of it working.

I uninstalled AVG Safeguard Toolbar from Control Panel ( Windows 10). I went to the AVG interface and tried to install WEB TuneUp. It asked me to restart my browser (Firefox 50.0) and it closed my browser but did not reopen it. I restarted it on my own and the extension did not install.
I tried to repair AVG as secribed but I only get the option to uninstall, not to change.
I have showing in control panel - AVG, AVG Protection and AVG WEB TuneUp.
I did this on my Windows 7 machine and it installed and is active but I do not have a toolbar and when I do a search I do not get the icons beside each result.
Purchased avg ultimate at best buy 11/30/2016 #(ACTIVATION CODE REMOVED). will not work?

Then try to reinstalling your AVG and you should be able to install Web Tuneup too.

I did not purchase a subscription for AVG Ultimate or anlything else from AVG please tell me how I can investigate this.

We are sorry to know that you are unable to activate AVG firewall. This issue can happen if the Firefox is not set us default web browser. Please check if the Firefox is set as default and then try to install AVG Web TuneUp again. Or change the default web browser to Internet Explorer and check if that fix the issue.
