Interruption in wifi

Ever since I bought protection - which I'm now realizing I could've downloaded a free version - my Roku is having trouble connecting to the wifi and I've had sketchy internet connection.
I've already contacted my internet provider - Comcast - my signal is fine.
I'm wondering if the AVG is blocking the signal from the Roku to the wifi and if it is, how do I give permissions for Roku to connect to the wifi?

Lastly, can I get my money back and switch to a free AVG version?

All of these issues happened after 9am (ish) after I bought the AVG service.
