Invalid file signature

Hello Saunders,

I apologize for the inconvenience. It could be possible that the latest updated have failed to install completely or the connection with update server was interrupted. I would suggest you uninstall  (Run AVG clear tool) the current version and reinstall AVG version 18.2 to resolve the issue.

I can't update my AVG Internet Security.
The last update was on 28 Feb. and for the last few days now, I get an error message " Invalid file signature. Setup will terminate "
Software version is 18.1.3044
Virus definition version is 180228-6
My subscription is current and I don't have any internet connection problems.
I would include a couple of screen shots, but the image link is asking for a web address…but images are on my computer.
