Definitions update just now was successfull and reports "up to date", however shows "Release date was invalid date (ver. 200407-0)". Unchanged after another check for updates.
My environment… Windows 10 on eMachines netbook. AVG application version is 20.2.3116.
No problems with AVG noted on this device before this.
Note similar problem reported by S Bruce on April 6 in AVG Performance category, although he was using AVAST program.

I've done a full removal and re-installation, and that has fixed the problem. It now reports…
Virus definitions are up to date. Release date was April 9, 2020 2:03PM (ver. 200408-4).
