Invalid renewal notice

Hello Ken,
Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. We would like to confirm that the email is from AVG and not a bogus one. The email is an automatic notification email generated by our system to inform you about the auto renewal of your AVG PC Tuneup license. As per our records, you have 2 copies of AVG PC Tuneup licenses and the email you just received is about the one expiring on 19th Dec 2016.
When you purchase an AVG subscription (formally known as "Continuing Protection Service"), the subscription will continue until you have cancelled it. Customers will be billed 15 days prior to the start of the next subscription period. Customers will also receive an email regarding the automatic extension of their AVG subscription, 45 days prior to the start of the next subscription period.

Please contact our sales support team ( https://support.avg.com/support_sales ) for more detailed information about your subscriptions. Appreciate your understanding, thank you.

I recently renewed my subscription for another year of AVG PC Tune-up; today I received a notice that said I would be charged my annual subscription fee - which it said went up a bit more than $10 U.S. - and it is supposed to be taken automatically about mid-December.  I don't think so Scooter!
I just renewed this about three months ago and I'm not stupid enough to get into a back and forth< "you need to send up a screenshot of the notice and then go to this page and read this notice and come back here and we will tell you where else to go."
I want a simple - UNSCRIPTED -  answer why AVG is trying to soak me for an early six months charge, and if it's a bogus message, who was my email address sold to?
