Hello. I was not able to obtain any hard proof that AVG was causing my problem, even though I was sure it was the culprit. So I uninstalled it using AVGClear, and then installed BitDefender. I have not had any problems since. So, that settles that, I guess. Thank you.

I keep getting this error from clean, certified sources (my banks, for instance, their certificates are always up to date):

NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID

I have tried all of the recommended remedies, updating my clock, clearing my cache, etc., and yet this error keeps appearing. I am sure my AVG software is responsible, because occasionally a long error message appears mentioning it. How do I tell my software to ignore these false certification errors? Thank you.

I don't feel one way or another. Your product was blocking my access to many legitimate, certified sites, so I had to remove it. The problem is solved now, it was a problem with your software. You asked me to offer you proof, I shouldn't have to do that  You have millions of installations, I'm not the first one to report this problem.

Thank you for writing us back, Blair.
We are sorry to know that you feel this way. This isn't the experience we want you to have. We attempted to help you out.
If you wish, we can install the AVG program and check what's causing the issue exactly and resolve it
Thank you and keep us updated.
