Just went on to download more photographs/videos from my iPhone and my wife's and we cannot get the icon to appear again - i disabled the Firewall as per your instructions last week and still it will not allow me to see the icon - tried the repair option and no joy.
Most frustrated now with this issue.
Not sure if this is AVG related but i have AVG anti virus and also PC Tune up - I used to be able to plug in my IPhone SE to my desktop and down load the photographs from it - now although the phone acts as if it is connected i get no IPhone icon on the "computer" listing to allow my to download the photographs.

No i have a full anti virus subscription via this email address. Don’t have a licence number to had as I am in my phone. Would be able to give the number tomorrow.

I see that you have another AVG account registered under a different email address with domain @googlemail.com. Would you like to merge those 2 accounts under the email address you used to contact us here?
Regarding your issue, I would request you to disable AVG protection completely and check if you could transfer the files.
Right click on AVG system tray icon, toggle the On/Off slider to disable the AVG protection.
Okay, I could only see the AVG TuneUp - Unlimited (1 year subscription) on the account that you used for posting here.
Did you purchase AVG Internet Security Unlimited using a different email address?

No with the Firewall enabled i have no access to my iPhone pictures - my iPhone is an SE model.
Okay, but this account has only "AVG TuneUp - Unlimited (1 year subscription)" which will only speed up your PC.
It is not the Antivirus program.

I'm sorry to hear about this. May I know if you have installed AVG Free Antivirus or AVG Internet Security and also I request you to disable AVG internet Security/AVG free Antivirus (Right-click the AVG icon in the system tray next to the clock > Click Temporarily disable AVG protection > Choose how long you want the protection to be disabled and whether to disable the Firewall as well, and then click OK) and check if you can access your iPhone photos.
