Ironmodal Threat secured pop up

I tried deleteing the files that had "ironmodal.com" in them. That did not work.
I then used a program "grepwin" (freeware) to find the phrase "ironmodel.com" and replace the text with "xxxxxxxxx.xxx" that solved the the AVG popup.
It took about 5 passes to get all of them.  It seemes the "ironmodal.com is self repicating. It lives in Chrome and Brave web site database cache and pops up when doing a google search.
The other option would be to remove chrome or brave completly. Not always easy to do.
It worked for me.

grepwin is a gui find program like linux grep. You can find it here  https://tools.stefankueng.com/
you only need to search the "users" directory.  This will save a lot ot time.

I get this pop up every time I do a search with Google. Can I turn it off or make it not come up all the time. I'd post a picture but the only picture you can post is from a web site?

No perticular site. Usually when I search. Got a pop up this morning when searching Home Depot. Seems to only happen in Chrome.
