Is AVG ultimate firewall blocking connection to email server?

Hi everybody. I upgraded to AVG ultimate yesterday and since then i cant get connection to a third party email server on windows 10. It tells me that i need to update my password, but that hasnt helped. Is there any way to see in AVG if the firewall is denying access to the email server? 
Thanks for any help or advise you may have.
