Is it normal that a whole computer scan stops at one file for 7 hours?

The current object is a file called table_rux.dll in windows/installer/766fc9.msi/… catalogue - I checked the 766fc9.msi and found it to be a DataStudio installation file. I deleted this program, but the AVG scan still holds on the same object. and I cannot pause or stop the scan. What to do?

Hi Ammie,
In order to analyze it please provide us with diagnostic output (gather it right after inducing issue) and that file if posible using this tool and please add detailed description of issue.
