Hello Mr L. Yes, it may possible that you can get this error when you try to scan a file that is using by another application.
I do not have access to the computer that is running the software. I am just trying to debug my software that is running concurently with AVG. The error is intermittent and I would like to have some sort of assurance that AVG is a potential cause of the errors before I ask the client to make any changes to their computers, which is why I asked my original question.
Thanks
Is it possible for AVG to cause an I/O error 1224 (ERROR_USER_MAPPED_FILE) in another application if it scans or otherwise locks a file while another application is attempting to write to the file; specifically, files with a .dat extension?
