Is this a false positive?

Twice in the last week I've had a virus detected message pop up soon after startup saying that AVG_AV_ONLINE_SETUP.EXE is infected with IDP.Generic. Both times I've quarantined the file bot I'm wondering if this is a genuine attack of a false positive occuring when AVG updates itself?
