Hello Suzi,
A Desktop.ini file is a file that determines the way a folder is displayed by Windows. These files can be found in any folder, anywhere on your computer, as long as that folder has a custom appearance set for it.
Desktop.ini files control things like the icon used for that folder and its localized name.
A particular or recently installed file must have got corrupted in all your computers or this can be a false detection which was added in the recent update of AVG, which will be automatically resolved in the next AVG update.
On all home laptops avg found and secured a potential threat under the name other:malware[trj], in the location Burn\Burn\Desktop.ini.
After looking online Desktop.ini is always present in the burn folder and should not be a threat.
Is this a real threat or a false positive?
Thankyou
Here is a screen shot of it on one of the laptops,
I have removed from quaratine easily. I was woundering if you could tell me any more about this threat as desktop.ini is always present in that folder and the new one created is not found as a threat? Also would you have an idea on how it was found on all laptops on my network as all laptops seem to be working fine and showing no signs of an infection?
Thank you.

I am having the same problem, which started this morning. Have clicked repeatedly on "resolve" but it doesn't place the item in quarantine or eliminate it. Then when I try to return to the main screen, I am told "You have not resolved this issue" and "Do you really want to ignore this and exit?" Well, no, I don't, but it won't resolve the problem. So what do I do now?
