Is this company heading south? (towards the Antartica?)

I've been a customer of AVG for a number of years (at least 6)… Renewed via on-site process for +2 years (running to Dec. 2018).
** Problem:=  invoice: My company is Scottish (UK). Invoice is from AVG eCommerce registered in the Netherlands. Our ability to recuperate NL VAT for product purchase for UK-registered company is "somewhat unlikely".
>> Noticed also that since last renewal in Dec.2014, the price has been hiked +40%.
So: someone at AVG do the math and tell me why I shouldn't cancel my subscription :
+40% price hike, , and now, to boot, loss of ability to recuperate 20% VAT (previous invoice in 2014 - also for an on-line renewal purchase -  was from AVG UK Ltd in Lincoln and therefore with an invoice from a UK-registered company = VAT recuperable for my company.
AND … now, trying to get any response on the phone is utterly frustrating - I'd like to shoot whoever is the piano player of the jangly piece that assaults ones ears for minutes "ad infinitum". (3 calls this morning 12/12/2016, no response after waiting 8 minutes each time : 1. called their "UK support" number, then 2. directly the "Lincoln" number, then 3. the "Amsterdam" number
>> each time, same "sound of silence" (or rather,  same madenning piano piece).
I'm voting with my company's wallet and will cancel our subscription and go somewhere else next time (unfortunately, which will now be in 2018).
Meantime, with lack of acceptable customer service, AVG seems to be sailing off towards the icy Antartic and, I'm quite sure, impending doom.

If anyone in AVG is out there reading this, for goodness sake contact me. At the very least, I would like to have a fresh invoice, issued from your UK-registered office (therefore, bearing a UK VAT registration number), which will allow my company to recuperate VAT on our purchase (as we have done so far on all our previous renewals).
Thank you.
(very disgruntled, as you can guess) GD
